I received a defective one.

It arrived on time and I installed it on my Metabo 15 gauge nailer and it wouldn't breathe. I disconnected it from the air hose and looked into the 1/4 inch fitting where it was solid metal on the inside with no holes. Carbide keeps air out of the gun, making it 100% useless. I returned it for another one and will update it. this check when the new one arrives.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Some little things

Good solution for factory hooks

Well I've been using this for over a year now and love it on my 18 gauge Omer. The large bridge works well for attaching to the top of a ladder or tool belt. Love it so much I bought 2 more for my other 2 guns. I don't have time for these factory hooks. These hooks allow me to hang it on my tool belt without checking to see if I've caught anything. I recommend!

  • Comfortable

This was designed by someone who actually uses the tools

It arrived ready to use. There was sealant on the threads of the air connector. Just shut up and move on. I like the fact that this thing rotates 180 degrees counterclockwise or clockwise. Congratulations on a great product at a reasonable price! A NOTICE. This is the second purchase from the Freeman line that is a workhorse and a real value. It works out.

Pros
  • . Good product for the price
Cons
  • Protection

Not impressed at all.

Definitely did not fit as advertised. Not for professional use. I tried it, by day 3 the small split ring and spacer that controls its ability to rotate came loose and the hook was very difficult to use. Might fit a nailer, but definitely not a pro skeleton gun. Hitachi/Metabo frames are heavy and this is a very unfinished product.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Easy to install and operate.

I installed a Freeman PSTH1 strap hook on my Hitachi 15 gauge nailer. It's quite frustrating when you need two hands on the stairs and now you have to find a safe place to set up your nailer. The belt hook works great; it is always there and does not interfere in any way with the operation of the tool. It also allows the user to hook the tool to any other object that is less than 1 inch wide such as a desk. B. Staircase hinges.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results

Be careful when screwing in!

The thread is quite long so don't try to screw it all the way in or the nailer cap will break. I had to remove the red thread sealant to fit my Metabo 16 gauge, it was too tight with the sealant. I also had to cut out a small piece of plastic that fits in the Metabo case (see photo), but no bigger than a silver dollar. I bought 1 inch and want to get 1 3/4 inch. I can still use 1 inch to hook into a tool belt or jean pocket, but that's about it. It's not deep enough to snag a ladder, 2x4, etc…

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
