Cuts all composition materials, plywoods, hardwoods, and softwoods. Use on CNC and other automatic routers as well as hand-held and table-mounted portable routers. 1/2-Inch Diameter, 14-degree angle, 1/2-Inch shank. Ground carbide with titanium for long life. Anti-kick back. Computer balanced for vibration free operation speeds over 22,000 RPM. Impervious to chemical attack.

Excellent drill bit

I can cut dovetails all day with no problems. The racquet stays sharp and works well with my dovetail rig. Freud quality is something I'm happy to pay a little more for!

Good for my needs

Used with my old PC router and dovetail to make some boxes - have used them for many years with no problems. I don't use it for production so not sure how it would work in a pro shop but for my occasional needs it was ok.

I like to use 1/2 " bits whenever possible

This bit was purchased to work with Microjig dovetail clamps. Tables and various power tool jigs. I like to use 1/2" -Bits whenever possible. Easy to set up and stays sharp to this day. Would I buy again and would always buy other Freud cutters if needed.
