Great beat, easy to set up.

Bought this bit to make a set of boxes for a portable miter saw station I am making. Contrary to some reviews, I found this bit fairly easy to set up in a few tries. Then a couple of tuners after the bit was set, making re-tuning even easier. The bit is very sharp and the fit, once set correctly, is very good. Highly recommend this bit if you want to make some boxes fairly quickly and easily. The only downside I found was that the glue for the drawer was a little tricky to assemble as the sides

Incorrect packaging of Freud cutter

Although this cutter cuts quite cleanly, I have a serious problem with the manufacturer's description and the measurements given directly on the packaging. My goal was to achieve about 1/2" engagement distance between the side of the drawer and the front, which would allow for the addition of additional 1/4 pins for strength and looks. The 99-240 bit packaging gives 33/64 "as the engagement length, but that's just not true. As another reviewer noted, this bit only requires a fixed engagement of

I must be a router genius because this thing is so easy to dial!

Cuts through butter like a hot knife! I got one of these puppies while I was a foreman at a local rat race and I really liked him. To improve my own sanity, I went out and as soon as I found myself with a pile of maple to make a crate boat out of, I opened up the amazon and grabbed it!
