I received the Freud 90-039 finger jointing nozzle because it was the only nozzle that could handle wood over 1.5 inches thick. I used this attachment to connect a massive desktop. Constructed from 8 quarters (1.58 inch) thick white oak. Now that I've finally figured out how to set the bit up properly, it works like a charm. I agree with the other posts above, a guide would be very helpful, but I still feel silly that I haven't been able to figure out how to properly set the bit on my router table until now.
