Longer bottom outlet in gutters

I looked at several gutters online. I chose this one because it gave me more length than others I've seen online. The only thing I didn't expect was that it was bulky when turning, but I could still use it, but it was skewed. I was going to order another but I need something more streamlined at this point as it sits next to the gate and due to the larger base prevents the gate from being vertical. Otherwise, I'm glad I ordered it and it serves the purpose I needed it for.

Fragile and malleable plastic - the design is doomed

The plastic in this product is too malleable and brittle. The fastening point of the gutter on the pipe broke off during installation in the cold (?!?!). There's no way those little plastic spokes could support the weight of the trough and the water pouring down, even if I could install them. This is a great idea but bad design. The softness of the plastic also caused the two parts of the gutter to separate when more than halfway extended (and that just held them in place and the heavy water…

MOLTEN and NOT USED on the afternoon of the first day

I had one that lasted several years. Gradually they flattened and deformed to the point where they had to be replaced. Bought this new kit and installed it last night. Today, less than 24 hours later, the bright sun melted the extension piece of the device. He became flat so that he could no longer carry water; it was just a flat surface. What a terrible disappointment. I don't know how they can work for anyone when the morning sunlight ruins the item and renders it unusable. I will try to…

Works for me - Roofer

I haven't had the melting problem that a lot of other people seem to have, so this works fine for me. It's in direct morning sun for about 4-6 hours and that's not a problem. Also lately it lasted a few days well with a temperature of over 90 degrees. Not only can it be folded, it can also be extended for a longer or shorter run. It also swivels left and right so you don't have to slide straight out like most extensions I've seen. Mine was slightly damaged but not really a problem. The locking…

Badly deformed in the sun

I had an old version of this product with which I had no problems after several years of use. This new one seems to be made out of much softer plastic. Within a day or two of installing it warped so much I had to refund the money for it. Notice the curve in the middle of the image and the almost flat end. The return process was easy and worked well. I then found some older versions at my local hardware store and bought one. I installed it and it worked fine and didn't warp at all. You can tell…

Good theory, bad implementation. destroyed my house.

I've been a designer for 30 years and I bought this gutter because it seemed like a new solution to me. After installing it, I found that they are complete garbage. Don't buy them. First, they are very difficult to extend, and the molded posts that attach the extensions to the head are weak and will break. I was only able to use 3 of the 4 I ordered. The folding option does not work either, since the back of the extension interferes with the outside wall of the house and therefore cannot be…
