2005 Roadking Fuel Injection

It's pretty funny how Harley tells you there is no replacement for this and you have to replace the entire assembly which will cost $$$. Save the dough and get a pack of this!

Pros
  • Rugged Finish
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

couldn't sit. on the fuel system

I could not install it with the special tool. Almost climbed but almost sat down, causing a tear each time. I destroyed all 5 orings. I made sure the groove was clean by using a toothpick and checking with a reference mirror. I only had to take the bike to the shop to have the assembly replaced. I wish I could get the wasted travel time back.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Drilling the packaging

Don't waste money. Buy these...

Bought these and Uxcell Nitrile O-rings at the same time because of a previous post I read. That poster was absolutely correct. Fuel tools are flimsy and almost impossible to install while the check valve is on the bike without the $100 installation tool. Look for uxcell nitrile o ring 14mm od diameter x 10mm I would go for 2mm thickness and you can get a pack of 20 for less than 5 fueltools and they actually hold their shape better making them compatible with normal ones tools such as the 9/32

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Non stock thickness suitable for o-rings and kits

I removed the tank from my 2005 Road King to install rocker locks. When I reassembled it gas was leaking from the eccentric. After researching online I figured if I replaced 2 of the 3 o-rings in this fitting I could fix the leak for a hell of a lot less than a Harley dealer would steal from me. So I bought these o-rings as well as the hose that goes over the plug. It works but it took a while. Silicone lube is a must. It took me 3 attempts. First time I thought it was seated but when I…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Worked exactly as expected!

Based on some of the reviews I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing these o-rings. But I decided to try and try. I had to use a toothpick to pry out the old o-ring and when I did it came out in pieces. It dried up and fell apart completely when I took it off. I have a 2007 Sportster 883XL and the new o-rings looked too small at first but figured I'd at least give it a try as I have nothing to lose. Before installation I decided to lubricate the o-ring with silicone grease that I use for pool

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Band
