The security of having fuel

It's good to have fuel in case the trip goes further than planned. They recommend releasing the excess pressure at least once or twice on hot days. When the sun hits it, it swells a lot, and releasing the pressure prevents it from splitting. The last one lasted many years and I was very happy with it. It cracked at some point due to the intense heat. I'm sure this one will last as long as the previous one.

Large container, nozzle totally useless

I bought this earlier this year as a storage option and added a bracket to place it on a side wall. It worked great and kept the gas "canister" off the wall. The only problem was if it could be used during a snow storm. I tried to fill my lawn tractor with it while plowing. But it did not work! The original nozzle did not open. It has a swivel mechanism and I couldn't get it to work. Luckily I had a regular spray can with a regular nozzle as "Plan C" left over. Glad I did, do yourself a favor…

Unfortunately, unlike Rotopax, they swell. I think in a good way I can put in over 1/2 gallon now but it looks weird swollen. Similar to cheap 5 gallon plastic gas canisters. It's thicker, but doesn't stand next to Rotopax either. Because of the price difference between the two, it's not worth buying this one unless you need the…
