These shorts are bold, but in a good way! I was expecting them to be a bit cheap as the price was cheaper than other comparable shorts. I was pleasantly surprised that they look like well made, high quality shorts! I ordered the medium but found it a little tighter than I would like. I don't run in them - they were only bought as casual shorts so I wish they were a little looser. I weigh less than 110lbs so I would recommend ordering a size up if you like loose shorts.

I bought these shorts to walk the dog in the summer and I needed a place for my phone. I saw that they had an insole and hoped it would be comfortable. For me that's not the case and that robs the shorts of their lightness and freedom. The lining is more like spandex cycling shorts than the lingerie-style athletic lining commonly found on women's shorts. After two socks I cut out the lining and am now a big fan of these shorts. I'm 5'6" and 150 lbs. I'm a medium size and they fit great. Haven't walked in them yet but so far they are fantastic! So comfortable! I'll update my review if I spot a terrible flaw in them while running. The fabric is so beautifully soft! The bottom layer doesn't seem to rise too much, it's already pretty short so there really isn't much more than it could rise.
