OEM part number: 82215040AB, 82215040, 82215040AC. Fits Dod-ge model: 2016-2018 Dod-ge Ram 1500 / 2500 / 3500 / 4500 / 5500 only; 2019 Dod-ge Ram 1500 Classic model only!!!!. This Trailer Brake Control Module allows drivers to automatically or manually activate the electronic brakes on properly equipped trailers for greater stopping power on downhill grades. THIS TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL MODULE REQUIRES PROGRAMMING TO ACTIVATE!. The controller and status display are mounted in the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel, and the included control lever can activate the trailer brakes independent of the truck's brakes. Drivers can customize the amount of brake force the trailer uses, depending on load requirements.

Fully Functional "OEM " Trailer Brake Controller - 2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn 4x4

The module is installed using the Alfaobd application to activate it and will work and look like it came from the factory. The panel opens easily, 3 screws in the center console and it pops out, 2 screws on the panel under the steering wheel. The screws on the bracket will test your patience. First screw the #1 screws into the bracket. #2 Install all 3 screws with the bracket, sit in the middle of the front seat and you can reach the top screw with the 7mm end of the box.
