Good but needed adapters

For GM Venture/Montana style vans with factored air shocks you will need to purchase a Monroe hose adapter kit or you will not be able to connect it. The dampers worked great with the choke installed in the factory mounts.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Shock absorber broke after 10 months

Shock absorber broke in less than a year. The top edge has separated from the body. Keep clearances in mind as the torso is very close to the shock mount. Sunday caused strong interference that led to this malfunction.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are nuances

Works great but needs another set

was trying to fix a hack job on my 1965 VW Ghia with air traffic. In the back he had cheap airbag shock absorbers. I tried but they wouldn't lift it unless I jacked up the car first. I'll try double back in the future, that should work.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to tell

The hijackers compensate for the need for the woman's van.

Shock absorbers seem to fit well. I had to adjust the air hose to work with my current air pump on a Chevrolet Venture Van. Rather than buying an extra pack of air hoses, I used two 3/16" compression fittings for the connection. The mufflers work well on a van.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Ok

Perfect for stock Pontiac replacement

Perfect replacement for my stock Pontiac air shocks. My mechanic said they are much better than the original. So far they have been great and carry my electric wheelchair and lift without sagging or sacrificing driving comfort. In fact, they feel way better than the original kicks.

Pros
  • Ideal for small homes
Cons
  • Upgrade available

Gabriel Airshocks are a great buy!

I recommend this product as an almost original shock absorber replacement! At less than half the replacement cost at auto parts stores and 1/3 the factory price, these shock absorbers are a great buy. Installation requires a little extra work. Basic knowledge of Airstrike/Lines is all that is required. The shock absorbers have been on our van for over a month with 2 long drives and have worked flawlessly!

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • upgrades

Great buy / Not a bouncy ride.

Guess I couldn't take the bouncy ride anymore so I finally took action and seem to have a pair of pretty good shocks. My wife's old van is almost like new again. I keep putting off repairs because the original shock absorbers cost almost three times as much. Good thing I wasn't in too much of a rush to buy from a local retailer. The drums were very simple. I gave it 4 stars because the air line tee that came in the box was not the fitting that attaches to the compressor. I went to my local…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
