The tins appear to be good but the description of these tins says the gallon cans have a handle or pad. I ordered two liter and two gallon cans, but none of the gallon cans had a handle or heel. Makes it difficult to move or carry when full.

It's nice to save expensive paint in these buckets. But they are very expensive/overpriced. You can use other empty food containers that seal well and are good for storing leftover paint. I would buy again but they would need to lower the cost or provide more than 2 containers for the same price.

Ideal for long term paint storage. I no longer have to worry about rust on the lids when I have to touch something around the house. Sure, paint cans are often plastic these days, but the top ring and lids are still metal. I now have these jars to store most of my leftover paint and a few bottles of nail polish for small touch ups around the house. .

Great Product BUT. You CANNOT use these jars for oil base or stains! My quart size showed signs of exploding after just a month. They were filled with stain and oil paint. The company was quick to respond to my email regarding the above and confirmed that these glasses are NOT suitable for these products. I plan to rate jars for these few jars and keep an eye on the lids.

They are certainly permanent, but what is the use if the lids do not hold? BIG WASTE OF MONEY. I hit them, punched them, punched them (according to the description) but they do NOT stay. So what use are they? Of course, they cannot store paint or varnish, which was intended. And like many others, there is no handle. Heading to Home Depot to buy matching paint cans for storage

A superb product and the ideal solution for storing touch up paint in a corrosion resistant tin. The jars and lids are strong, the lids close securely and open easily. I will buy more of this product. I haven't found a paint shop that has such an alternative to the steel cans they carry. Perhaps they'd rather your paintwork be worn down by rust contamination.
