My dad has a hobby of grafting avocado trees. I got this for him for Christmas and he LOVES it. lol. He said it makes it way easier to cut the branches this way. Super stoked !

Wonderful tool. My only criticism is that out of the box the bolts that secure the blades into the tool are extremely tight and we're difficult to loosen initially. It could be easy to damage of not done carefully. But otherwise I was able to change the blades and use the tool with good results. Comes with everything needed for a good graft. Great product!

I like the design/tool concept. But This tool is only good for the small branches, not good for half inch diameter That's my review.

Received item yesterday, not quite the right time for grafting. I have examined item and it appears quite sturdy, looking forward in a few weeks to start grafting.

I'm new to grafting. I picked up two of the kits, one for me, and one for my brother. I purchased for my mom for mother's day. She's very excited to use it! I tested it. Blades are nice and sharp. The cutting blades are a unique shape which makes them hard to sanitize between cutting. (Removing bacteria between cuttings is essential to a successful splice)

The tool itself is OK. The "grafting tape" is just a cut-down roll of saran wrap. The "tape" is awful to work with and the company loses respect for trying to pass this off as "grafting tape." Buddy Tape, patafilm or other real grafting tape is needed. The tool, however, is of good design and can create an accurate v, u, or omega cut. The clippers on top also work.

I was excited about starting to graft avocado trees but I found:1. the grafting tool made such small cuts that it was virtually impossible to get the to stay together.2. the grafting tape was impossible to use! I don't know what Parafilm is but it can't be this stuff. I ordered Parafilm after using this tape but it hasn't arrived yet.3. I was super excited about getting this cutter but was very disappointed after the first few uses. The blade was not sharp enough, so it didn't have a clean-cut and causes damages to my host cut. I tried to change the blade but was not able to twist out the screws, so I was not able to try other blades. The plastic handle feels flimsy and I was worried about pressing too hard and breaking the handle especially the blade did do clean cuts. I'm returning this item and will have to try something…

Very cool product, haven’t had the time to use it with cannabis yet but excited to see how well it works! That's my feedback.

Definitely a great tool to have for anyone wishing to graft. Keep in mind though that it's made for small branches. In order words if you're thinking of cutting your fruit tree that has a fair size trunk to graft scions, then that tool is useless.

the pruner is not strong enough to cut branches before grafting. The grafting cut is too small so it's hard to wrap your grafts. I only use the tapes and accessories that came with it

The blades on this were dull… the cuts did not match up… I sent this back and ordered my tool from A.M Leonard…. Spend the extra money and get a better tool!… the grafting tape that was sent with this is also very difficult to work with…. Do not recommend this kit.

First time changing the blade/cutters was not very easy. The screws was tightened so tight you need King Kong muscles to loosen them up. Very difficult to change cutters. The sacrificial block for the cutter blades wears out too fast. Also there’s no clear instructions on how to cut the branches and butt them together to make the graft. Used one time and gave up due to difficult handling.

I have come across videos of tools like this circulating on Instagram for insane prices. This is the same tool. Do not pay $100 for this. It works great. It takes some getting use to flipping it back and forth for the different cuts. Especially when you are moving fast. I'm happy to have it. Its much better than using a fixed blade.
