Adapter from 110V to 12V.

In most cases you won't need this adapter for your Garmin GPS, but if you're traveling and want to set a route for the next day from your hotel room, this is a must have. since the USB cable that comes with Garmin will not charge from your laptop. worth your money.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Available in black only

Designed with common sense.

My Garmin car sat nav came with all types of chargers except the mains charger. I am delighted with this charger. Also, the pins on the connector are foldable so they can be stored horizontally without damaging the pins. Also when I travel abroad I can order the correct plug for the country I am going to visit. A wonderful product designed with common sense.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons

Missing link for my Garmin. and also .

Missing link for my Garmin. and now I have it! No more excruciatingly slow data port charging. There will be no more reports of using the cable that came with the GPS to charge (which wasn't there anyway, unless the car charger cable counts). Works great with my RV760:LMT, now I can charge it at home for programming and such on the couch before heading out.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Nothing here

Be Considerate of the Buyer - GPS Accessory

I made sure I found the correct part number for the original charger and ordered an AC charger for my device. However when I received the item it did not have the same connector type and the original Garmin GPS will not charge with this item. I would rather give ZERO stars as I would NOT order this item if I knew it wasn't exactly what I need. This is very disappointing as I will be traveling this weekend and NEED my "charged" GPS.

Pros
  • Excellent General Features
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Expensive for the quality level

Too expensive for the quality level. The plug is said to be interchangeable with several different international power adapters, but you only get a US adapter to plug in. The clasp snaps into place but is not tightened. Low quality material. It works and allows me to program trips and 'saved places' from the comfort of my warm home. The Garmin GPS only comes with a 12V charging cable and after-sales cables will not work. Garmin took care of that!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons

Arrived on time and works perfectly. Try one of the two cables.

Arrived on time and works perfectly. If you try one of the two cables and it doesn't work, try the other. I tried one and it didn't match the GPS. I wanted to send it back because I thought the other cable would be the same size. I then called Garmin and they told me to try another cable I made and it worked. However, I agree with other reviewers that the GPS should come with a charger. I'm glad I can charge it with the charger now. Power plug, no computer.

  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • So-so

This is the right choice

The 110V detachable plug on my original charger was lost during our recent trip. I tried several other chargers that we already had and none of them worked properly with my Garmin. Garmin uses a pulse charging system which requires the correct charger. The replacement block was identical to my original. What I don't like is that the 110 output pins are removable for better storage. If you care about your charger, you will never disconnect the 110V pins from the transformer. It is very easy to…

Pros
  • Chargers and Cables
Cons
  • Some bugs

Does what it's supposed to - loads.

Charges my GARMIN DRIVESMART 51 NA LMT-S. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was that the device only lasts about 2 hours on the mains without recharging. I figured I wouldn't need to use the car cable when charging indoors. Guilty. I'm still new to GPS. As other reviewers have pointed out, the connector is awkward and the cord is short. I usually plug it into an outlet with a meter underneath. This plug does not like to share with other plugs in the same socket. I continue to use this…

Pros
  • GPS System Accessory
Cons
  • Cable shorter than others

This Garmin power adapter for the kit works fine but the USB data cable between the unit and the computer does not fit in the back of the Garmin Drive Smart 61. I ordered this kit specifically for the DATA cable. , now I have to order the right USB cable. Revain's ad specifically states that this kit is compatible with the Drive Smart 61 LMT-S. However, if you read the BOX yourself, it says it fits SOME Garmin devices. There is no model name of ANY Garmin device on the box, it is either…
