Exactly the right thing for marine GPS accessories

I installed my Garmin right before the start in winter, only the cable from the sensor to the place where I installed the chartplotter broke! It was annoying but it solved the problem.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Negative impression

Perfect extension cord

I have a Garmin Striker Plus 4Cv and I couldn't install it in the right 3 inch spot. It worked great and I haven't noticed any issues with the Striker now that I only have 30ft of cord. The extra cable is twisted and secured under my helmet.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Some bugs

Don't think about auto and vehicle electronics

The new Echo series GPS/Dashfinder I bought had a 19ft cable, I thought it had 20ft like any others I owned. I bought this extension because it was 6 cm too short. This 10 foot cable works well. Garmin did not list the length of the cable on the box it came in.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Must be purchased for boats over 18ft.

This cable is required when purchasing small Garmin devices. I bought this for my 22ft pontoon and after installing the unit (very easy btw) the converter cable was too short. If you're buying a smaller Garmin for a bigger boat, buy that too.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Compatibility

Works like a charm - no signal loss

This was the perfect solution to install on my 24ft pontoon boat. The cable that came with the Garmin Echo 551dv I bought was about 3 feet shorter because I had to mount the transducer on the port pontoon because the swim ladder was too close to the starboard pontoon. I was a little afraid that this would affect the quality of the signal, but in the end (no pun intended) it all worked out great! I have no loss of signal and the install was reliable and I will trust it for years to come!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Frequency

Good quality! - Cable helped me.

Cable helped me. The sensor was attached to the trolling motor at the front of my pontoon and the cable wasn't long enough to reach the rudder. I don't tow my boat and like to remove my trolling motor at the end of the year. With this extension I was able to route the cables at the rudder and also remove the trolling motor by unplugging it at the cable connection. I can't work under a boat so I was able to run a cable around the outside edge of the boat to adjust my needs. The signal quality…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
