Good product but not slippery

From other reviews here you might get the impression that this device never loses its grip on the ground, even off-road. Sorry, but that's not true. At least with my slash, I had to put it on one of those "sticky pads" to keep it in place at all. And it's still not that sure. As others have said here, it would be hard to live without them. The device positions the iQue very flexibly for better visibility, and the charging cable/speaker is excellent, if a bit bulky around the connector. However,

Slip Solution

I was also having trouble sliding the beanbag around and off the dashboard and have solved this problem in two ways: by attaching Velcro strips to the underside of the beanbag and dashboard or by pulling a small bungee cord from the Defroster opening at bottom of windshield to air conditioning opening at front of dash and tuck edge of rattle under cord. On a hot day you will need to remove the velcro rattle while the car is parked as the glue on the velcro can become sticky and slip off under…

Essential accessory for iQue

You absolutely need an iQue mounting kit. A speaker for voice prompts is a must. The beanbag does a reasonable job of keeping the iQue on the dash. The only issues I've had with it is when I'm accelerating hard (like trying to get out of a toll booth very quickly). Then the beanbag sometimes flies off the dashboard. But I have to say, as many times as it has happened, nothing has broken. So it's a pretty solid device in my book. The only downside is that depending on your location, the…

Fun design, fits GPS, finders and accessories

This device is a kind of four-lobed pouch with a sticky rubber material on the bottom. It doesn't move much on the dash, but I wonder if it should be there at all. The instructions are pretty categorical that you shouldn't bring the device in your line of sight and that you shouldn't lean on the airbag. That would lock him out of my Ford Focus and limit his place on my Honda Odyssey. I would prefer something that attaches to the windshield with suction cups, like a radar detector. The device…

I also had trouble sliding the beanbag around and off the dashboard and I solved this problem in two ways: by attaching Velcro strips to the underside of the beanbag and dashboard or by running a small elastic cord from the defroster vent at the bottom of the windshield to the air conditioner vent at the front of the dashboard and slide the end of the rattle under the cord.
