Type of review

I'm a long-distance runner, but I never take my phone with me I don't need to buy a Garmin Forerunner 10. However, since I prefer to just run without my phone (because it makes me feel unbalanced), I decided I needed a real watch with GPS to track distances and time intervals. The Garmin Forerunner does that perfectly, or almost perfectly. Other reviewers note that the watch takes a long time to pick up a signal in urban areas like New York - that's definitely true from what I've seen. However,

Happy with this great value GPS running watch

I bought this watch to replace a lost (oops!) Garmin 610 that my wife gave me as a gift. The 610 is quite expensive, and I figured my preferences got me a 10: I prefer buttons over a touchscreen, I don't use a heart rate monitor, and I don't need fancy features. 10 seemed like a good option. Best Budget Watch with GPS

I bought this watch for my wife to replace the Soleus Fit (which replaced the old Garmin 205). Soleus Fit just wasn't easy enough for her. I wrote a separate review about this GPS watch. Forerunner 10 has a lot to offer. It's surprisingly easy to use. After using Soleus my wife was pleased with how easy it was to figure out.
