Description of Gates 20606 Upper Radiator Hose

Specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum. Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure. Pre-shaped to fit and to ensure perfectly sealed conditions. EPDM tube; synthetic fiber knit reinforcement; heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover. Meets requirements of SAE 20R4, class D2 and DIN 73411, class A (except for tolerances).

Excellent Upper Radiator Hose for Automotive Use!

I recently purchased an upper radiator hose for my car, and I must say I`m very pleased with the performance of this product. As my tests showed, this hose is durable and can withstand high temperatures, which is important for any automotive application. The installation process was easy, and I feel confident that this hose will last me a long time .The only con i can think of is that it's a bit pricey compared to other hoses on the market, but the quality is definitely worth the investment..

Custom Gates radiator hose.

I think the hose will work fine. The outer surface of this Gates hose is not smooth unlike any Gates hose I have purchased over the past 40 years. It shows the main bond and the outer surface is not smooth. I was an auto parts dealer during college and had never seen such a fake hose. I'm thinking of going to my local auto parts store and seeing if they have a better one for my Camaro RS 67 convertible. It seems to be working but it doesn't look right. I'm disappointed.
