A few inches shorter

It is a few inches shorter than my 96 f150 4.9. It says it's a straight fit, but when I put it on it rubs against my snake strap.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Not typical Gates quality

Installed this hose on my 1992 F150 in July. Only this morning I had to replace it because the end of the radiator was swollen and didn't hold up yesterday and today. I even changed the clamp twice!

Pros
  • Hoses
Cons
  • Quality

Worked Great.: Belts, Hoses & Pulleys

This hose worked great after being cut (as described) and reconfigured. I have it on a 1970 Mustang Mach 1, 351 watts, with a new 3-pipe radiator. It cleans the power steering duct and pulley/belt. There is no unnatural stress that could cause it to come loose or break when installed.

Pros
  • Radiator
Cons
  • Crumpled

After struggling with this for a whole day, I shopped at a local store. I went to O'Reillys first and tried their MasterPro 20609 hose which was a little longer but still too short. Finally, the AutoZones Dayco B 71873 hose was an exact…

  • Belts, hoses and pulleys

  • I don't remember but there was something
