No problem, great buy

I've pretty much traveled everywhere and everywhere and was very impressed with this 2014 Polaris Razor XP1000 belt. You can't beat him for money. Just as good as Polaris.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Some flaws

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Won't last as long as a stock Polaris strap, but...

Less durable than a standard Polaris strap, but if you don't mind changing straps you can't beat the price. I spent about 30 hours on this Gates belt and about 50 on the Polaris belt.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Functionality

Terrible quality and performance.

Second belt of the same model that we bought. We bought it again thinking the first one might be defective. Not at all. The second started burning within an hour of normal driving. Less than 2 full hours passed between the two. They're cheap for a reason.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Something different

Bad product, save money, buy something else, original

Bad product, save money, buy something else, keep original. Bought this as a spare in May, rode a bit, maybe 100 miles, it's generous, everything is easy. I rode 60 km yesterday and the belt broke on the way home.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Safety

waste of money!

After going through a proper "belt break-in” protocol prior to full use, the belt broke after only a few months of use. Definitely NOT worth the money and there is NO way to return it as the return window has closed 30 days after purchase - how would you know for sure it would be good so soon!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • 0

Inexpensive spare part, always at hand.

Bought this as a spare for our new RZR XP1K, sealed it well with a vacuum sealer to keep it clean on trails. A buddy snapped the belt on his RZR 900 on our last ride out and it continued. I got rid of someone who towed it 30 miles back to the trailer. Compare it to the original belt at $209.99 (MSRP) and it's a great buy.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great belt for the price. Always carry a spare with you.

I have a 2014 xp 900 4 seater. I've owned it since it was new. I've used Polaris belts, Heavy Duty EPI belts, Standard Gate and Kevlar Gate belts. I get about the same life from Polaris, EPI, and standard Gates belts. Maybe a little more life from EPI. The Kevlar Gates belt blew up pretty quickly so I haven't tried any other. For the price, I'm happy with what I'm getting from this 21G4140. Now I've driven this car almost 5,000 miles and I can feel the belt leaking. Changing on the track only…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Minor issues
