Perfect Replacement Hose

This was the perfect replacement hose for my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500. The quality of Gates hoses is excellent as always and they fit perfectly.

It seems like it's taking too long, but it works.

This fits my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.9L V8 Gasoline. Cut about 3/4 inch from the water pump side should cut off a full inch. Then I also had to cut about 1/2 inch or so from the side of the heatsink, but I didn't. The hose appears to be too long and appears twisted during installation. I didn't save the inner spring because an instruction site recommends not letting the hose break. My reason was that the old spring was badly rusted and dirty, and also because I was able to trim the tube well…
