Perfect fit for 2001 F150

Ordered this to replace my 2001 F150 fuel filler hose. The angle was exact so I cut the tubing to fit. Other sellers asked 55.00 for this small fuel hose. This is an exact match.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Running speed

Modified for my purposes and works great

I had to replace two short sections of rubber in my custom composite filler neck on my F53 (2000 Airstream) chassis. Everywhere else I looked I wanted to sell myself a 4 foot section for over $80. I bought that, changed it in half and voila, no more gas on earth for $20.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Ease of installation. for hoses

Ideal for 2001 Ford F150 XLT 5 Speed 4.2 V6. After cutting off about 3.5 inches and lightly lubricating the metal filler tube and tank tube, she went easy. Had to replace the original after it fell apart during a tank drop to replace the fuel pump. Initially I tried one of those O'Reilly flexible/flexible (wired) 1.5" hoses but it was too stiff and when I dropped the tank a second time I couldn't reattach it. This product has remained smooth as silk.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Good quality parts

I have used this inflation hose on both a 2003 Ford E150 5.4 Van and a 2001 Ford F150 5.4 Truck. This is a good quality reinforced hose with a nylon cord inside for extra strength. All that remained was to cut them to the desired length with a sharp razor blade. I didn't have to put the tank down on the E150, good luck! All I had to do was use a very small 1/4" ratchet on the tank inlet to get to the hose clamp. No screwdriver to get in there. The F150 had to have the tank drained to do theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Some minor issues
