Worked well. Nothing for beginners. Incredibly tedious to disassemble and reassemble, but will save you $100. The shaft sealing ring was not changed. Not necessary. As far as I can tell you need a hydraulic press to get there. There are many small parts inside the pump that you can lose if you are not careful.

I used this kit to fix my wife's leaking power steering pump on my wife's 08 Civic. All seals fit properly, you will need a shaft bearing to fully reseal it. I wish the kit had new pump veins and a bearing. You will need a sealing screwdriver and you should be aware that the pump veins are inserted with the bronze faces facing the centre.

This was sealed in the original packaging and matched exactly what I removed from the power steering pump on my 2008 CR-V. O-rings and seals matched the color, markings and quality of what came out of the pump exactly. After 150,000 runs, the original seals began to leak, completely eliminating the problem. Rebuilding the pump was very easy and cheap. Removing the pump and reinstalling it on the machine was significantly more difficult than reassembling the pump. The quality of this kit is…
