Worked great. The old restored pumps are sealed

Works great. Sealed old restored pumps. I think all remanufactured pumps leak very soon after replacement. The kit is cheap and solved the problem. I got tired of turning it on and off to get a new one that did the same after a few months.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Nothing

Fix my noisy and foamy P/S pump.

Great P/S recovery kit, it eliminated the COLD START NOISE that was only present on morning starts, squeaking/swirling/foaming fluid from the ACCORD 04's P/S pump. I saved a lot of money thanks to their kit saved a few hundred dollars by caulking the pump and am very happy. Great product, I will continue to buy in the future.

High quality kit compatible with 8th generation Accord

Great kit! The Revain manual says this kit is not compatible with my vehicle (2010 Accord EXL. V6). But I went with my gut and luckily the seals in this kit are perfect for the power steering pump in my car! Like other reviews, I wish this kit came with a high pressure hose seal, but considering the dealer charged me $43 for the main seal alone (pear shape), this kit is a great value👍🏻

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • I won't say anything

NO gasket included for HIGH PRESSURE LINE.

I finally found the time to overhaul the pump by replacing all the seals. I've traced the shaft bearing, I obviously recommend replacing it if your car has 360,000+ miles like the Honda Pilot 05, but that's up to you. I didn't give 5 stars because the gasket kit DOES NOT include a rubber o-ring for the high pressure line. I had to buy separately. I ended up buying from a local Honda dealer. All in all I only spent about $18 for the bearing, $2.50 for the extra o-ring and $30 for this repair kit

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Only available in black

This kit will save you time and money

It is quite common for power steering pumps on Honda/Acura vehicles to tend to leak after around 10 years. This kit fixes most of these leaks. It's relatively easy to install. The total time is about 2 hours from uninstall, restore and reinstall. For some Acura/Honda models you will also need a Dorman 926-157 general purpose o-ring. This is the o-ring for the power steering hose. You'd be crazy not to replace that o-ring when you do everything else. While you're at it, drain the power steering…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not bad

Nice to have all o-rings in one pouch but no instructions

I am a huge Gates fan and have been using their products for years. I have not reviewed the individual Honda O-rings so I cannot judge the value of a Gates kit versus buying OEM replacements. Most options for the location of the seal were obvious (comparing o-ring size, thickness and diameter), but I couldn't find a suitable option for the high pressure line. I had a hard time installing the high pressure line without damaging the o-ring. I finally managed to stay properly and tighten. My…
