Very bad fit. Difficult to install

Very poor fit on a 2003 Deville. Difficult to install. Does not correspond to the OEM line. If it were a new edition, I would go to a different manufacturer.

Pros
  • The connection on the unconnected end of the recoil assembly is made using standard worm gear clamps
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about this, everything is fine

Fixed my parts issues

I have a 2000 Cadillac Deville DHS. Due to a leak in the factory line, I started topping up steering fluid every other day. I replaced it with this one and it worked perfectly. I haven't let it fail or leak months later. The removal and installation was very easy, even as a beginner.

Pros
  • General instructions included with each assembly individually boxed
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Removing the old hose and catching the new one took the most time. Once you overcome these hurdles, connecting and cleaning becomes a breeze. You can save more money by installing it yourself, but a full car lift is desirable due to the narrowness under the chassis. Care must be taken to ensure that oil does not…

Pros
  • Exceeds SAE J2050 Performance
Cons
  • Expensive
