💪 Efficient Power Transmission: Gates K061015 Multi V-Groove Belt Unveiled! Review

My original belt creaked so I replaced it with a Dayco belt. A week later the creaking returned and intensified. I've been wearing this Gates belt for about a month now and it's quiet. It was much more difficult to put on and tighter than the Dayco belt.

May not be packaged correctly but I tested this belt with the one I took off. It was a little longer, not even an inch. But the old belt was really old and I was putting it on shrinkage from drying out when it burned out. Replaced at the same time with a new belt tensioner. Every week the battery dies and has to be skipped and charged. I don't want to throw parts at the car. Revane says it matches the 2005 Ford Expedition perfectly, and I have to disagree.

I bought this belt as a spare for my supercharged BRZ Sprintex. Haven't had any issues with the current belt (same part number) but I like having a spare belt, especially as my car auto-snaps quite often and keeps track of time. The belt I received is exactly what I wanted and arrived in brand new condition. I would have given it 5 stars if the cardboard packaging that the belt comes in wasn't torn quite badly.
