it's not fun to put on belts, hoses and pulleys

I warn you that it's difficult to remove the old one and put the new one on. Having the right tools and plenty of time helps me that it took me a day and a half to get the job done.

This is a top quality Gates original kit, what else can I say

I have been using Gates products for many years. They always last at least the vehicle manufacturer's prescribed service intervals and sometimes much longer than they should remain in service. This is the correct timing belt kit for 2003 Jeep Liberty with 2.4 engine.

It's time to replace the timing belt as recommended by Dodge at 70-80k miles. If it breaks while the engine is running, you need all new valves. Like most 4-cylinder engines, it is called an interference engine. That's all you need to get the job done, except new coolant. Hard work, but I saved over $500 in labor costs by doing it myself.
