Not snappon but works fine

2 front sensors changed 02. The first one was very easy with this kit. It took me 2 hours to remove the second 02. Never changed for 200,000. Oh my god it was hard. This tool works fine but has started to strip the 02 sensor and round the head. I had to stop adding penetrating oil/freezing. wait 20 minutes He moved an inch, stopped, blurred, repeated. I was very worried it wouldn't work. I think the tolerance on this tool set could be tighter to avoid stripping the heads. I am leaving 5 stars…

Solid sockets when you need them. You need them

Nothing to say about these sockets. These are dedicated ports and if you need them there aren't many alternatives. Gearwrench does great stuff and they are no exception. Build quality is a bit lower than regular impact sockets, but that brings the price down a bit. Gearwrench offers a lifetime warranty on these baddies, and only costs a few bucks more than a port freight kit. It's a win-win, they'll last quite a while and if they don't you have a great guarantee. This is a good buy.

Update January 2020 I have used the heads from this kit to replace several oxygen sensors, temperature sensors and oil pressure sensors. This is a great baby and well worth the purchase price. Original Review August 2018 Bought this in hopes it would remove the coolant temp sensor from a 4.2L Chevy Trailblazer. This kit did not have a matching socket for this sensor. This set contains many options: 4 oxygen sensors, oil pressure sensors and other temperature sensors. Unfortunately it didn't…

Quality, cost, trusted brand,

A good set. For the price I paid it's five stars considering the lifetime warranty. It's about 4 star quality. All frames are CrV except for the largest Chrome Moly. Preferably all Chrome Moly. One of the holes/grooves cut into the socket was not finished properly. There was a sharp metal burr that needed to be sanded down. Another socket for your ratchet anvil was fine but had some markings. Even if you can get an identical set elsewhere, this is not a lifetime guarantee. For the kind of heads

Worked great Oil Pressure Gauge 2014 Ram 1500

My 2014 Ram pickup had a check engine light on. Of course about 10,000 miles after my warranty expired. After reading the code and searching the internet a bit, I figured it was the oil pressure sensor that had failed. which is of course difficult to achieve. I ordered a new sensor and this set of sockets. I've read that the sensor can be removed with a deep socket, but I ordered this set just in case. I'm glad I did. The sensor does not have a regular hex shape like a nut or bolt head. It has…

Nice thickness, no sharp or rough edges, lifetime warranty.

Before buying I met reviews that the set consists of CR-V. Why? These are not Schuko sockets. CR-V is actually harder and more expensive than CR-Mo and is the ideal material for these non-impact heads. The largest of the bushings is CR-Mo and will likely withstand impact, but again these are not shock bushings. Please get at least a rough idea of what you are buying before making a complaint. You are reliable. Although this is one of those items that the average home user rarely uses, you never
