Disappointing Quality Socket Set

Based on my experience with this hand tool, I cannot recommend it for Automotive use. While the pieces look sturdy, they easily break under pressure, which can lead to costly mistakes. The upside is the variety of sizes and the tool case it comes with, but it's not worth the risk of having to replace broken sockets.

Economical, high quality deep socket set

Deep sockets are not always needed but when they are needed they are really needed. I've found them to be a good addition to my tool box in terms of cost and reasonable quality.

Roughly polished, scratched hardware

I'm usually quite happy with the quality of gearwrenches. Not so this set of sockets. The largest 4 bushings have a very poor chrome/groove polish. Very rude. I work in the aerospace industry and need sockets that won't scratch the corrosion-resistant cadmium coating on nuts and bolts. These will.
