The ashtray isn't that bad but the clips aren't very strong. The ashtray has been knocked out of the clamps several times and the light is not on. It serves its main purpose but I would choose a different product.

I would give it a solid five stars other than the fact that they tend to slip over any vents when turning. Ashtray for your car.

I love the downlight! I also love the vent clip feature! The only thing I don't like is that the cigarette falls into the ashtray and you have to detach the ashtray to get it out!

I liked the features but it didn't match my air vents on my Pontiac G6 06 GTP. Weird, as is usually the case with this style, but they weren't big enough. I complained to my friend and he tried his Mitsubishi Eclipse 06 Spyder air vent. and the clips were not removed. He loves to!

Extinguishing hole is too small and far from the cigarette shelf. The place should be next to the shelf. The hole is too small to focus and insert a cigarette and clogs every time. The SEIKO ED-151 was the best but unfortunately it was discontinued. Cigarette tray space is too big, so your cigarette might fall into the ashtray.

I bought this for my friend to use in my car. it does not adhere well to the vents. The clips also detach from the air vent during normal driving. Clips don't stick to the ashtray at all, the ashtray just sits on top. If you have a breakaway Jeep this won't work on the center vent, it will hardly work on the side vents if the slightest bump (pothole) doesn't knock the ashtray off its clips. If you're planning on getting this and don't want to use a cup holder, buy a cup holder that slides out…

I love the light and it's securely attached to the vent. I don't like it when you throw a cigarette butt at it and close the lid expecting it to extinguish itself. There is a lot of persistent smoke coming from above at the end. I figured a closed lid would wipe out the butt. Also, the bottom of the container felt very hot. I only had 1 cigarette so I was very reluctant to take some cigarettes with me for fear of a fire while driving. I think I'll give it up to be safe. So disappointed.
