Pure rusty scrap from India

I have 2 General Tool No. 79 stamps from years ago. The tips are broken and I can't find a replacement tip that fits (they kept the #79 model number but changed the thread size of the tips). The part has been coated with oil to prevent rust. It did not work. It was rusty on the inside and starting to rust on the outside. Inner rust was hanging on the inner hammer. These stamps used to be made in the USA, now they are made in India. Don't waste your time or money. I'm beginning to think this…

Handy tool: Hand tool

Bought to replace my years old feather punch that fell on concrete and cracked the tip leaving behind and pinching the tip's threaded rod. What I noticed is that the shaft and tip move a lot more than my broken shot, even though the design looks the same. Additionally, the Heavy/Light setting doesn't greatly affect the depth of the mark left when punching through aluminum and wood. Just like Starret: power tools and hand tools
