If I could put zero, I would.

I've had several Kreg knockoffs and this is by far the worst. The clamp screw broke when I first tried to use this jig. A complete waste of money. Next time I'll save up for a real bargain, tired of those crappy fakes.

great tool to my store!

I attached this attachment to my workbench because it is in constant use. Being able to throw any size board and punch perfect pocket holes every time is awesome! I've noticed that the included drill bit is starting to dull, but like I said I use it all the time so I'm not surprised.

  • Pleasant to use

Great price for lovers! Don't worry about the screws that come with the kit.

If you're working with something thinner than 2 inches, make sure you use this mount instead of the fixed ones. Don't rely on the unnecessary screws that come with the kit. Get yourself some real jeg screws. The ones that come with the kit are too short for 2 inch jobs. Also note that you have a corded drill. Cordless drills have trouble drilling pocket holes.

Pretty little gadgets in Gadget Accessories

Looks good and should work as it should. There was another one but I can't find it. I was hoping it would show up as soon as I get a new one as I made various bushings for it. There is no such happiness. Okay, I'll make new bushings for it, then I'll probably find it. The drill is really good. If you use it wrong it will break. I had 5 years on a beat before I dropped it. I made a new best cobalt nozzle on my lathe using a grinder. When used correctly, it is very easy to create useful pocket…

There is no quality control.

The first glass I received was missing a drill guide. Didn't even take it out of the packaging. When replacing the threaded hole in the aluminum block for the knurled screws was either too big than the pilot hole or was cleaned during thread cutting. The thumbscrew just slides open, not squeezed. The design concept is good and I like the idea of making it out of metal instead of plastic, but until there is a third I have doubts about the quality. It's fine too, but the parts list said 2 extra…

General tools 854 The adjustable pocket hole gauge is a cheaper alternative to drilling pocket holes. This model is designed to adapt to all wood thicknesses from 0.5" to 1-5" in a range of possible pocket hole sizes. It also disassembles to allow holes to be drilled on a fixed part that will not fit the full clamp. Unfortunately there are no instructions or minimum markings on the device. There is a website that should list the answers on the package but I haven't looked at it. The best way to

Fantastic price, no need to shell out extra money for a Kreg light.

it will work properly. Not sure if I just accidentally moved the bracket, I'm pretty sure it was perfectly in place, but the 2 holes I drilled out of about 100 were too short and the screws went completely into the wood I joined. Versatility: It's a very small mount with a built-in clamp, so moving it around isn't a problem. Additionally, it adjusts to up to 1.5" of wood thickness, which I used for a 2x6, and it worked great. Overall, the problem is incredibly easy to use, and the extra screws…

A little cheesy, but does the job

As a novice woodworker, I'm new to pocket-hole gauges, but the Kreg's price tag (about $99) put me off. . This one basically does the job, but I have no idea how long it will take. Case: 1. A lot of metal shavings came out during the first drilling, indicating that the tolerances between the drill and the guide are quite tight and possibly too large.2. After 5-10 holes, the drill warped, so now it doesn't correspond to reality. Not enough to render it useless, but the bit is clearly not up to…
