Gaming/ PS3 Gaming Chat and PC Usage

I bought this to connect my Playstation 3 with the ability to play and chat through the Turtlebeach X12 headset. In this capacity he did quite well. I found instructions on Youtube on how to set it up. Another surprise was that I could use it on my PC (I had a broken microphone jack and was able to use it instead, so now I can use my Hauppauge again to record Let's Plays. The sound is really good, no issues with the quality .Standard USB connector.

Pros
  • Holding my fists

Max who? maximum value!

I've bought one of these before and actually paid a bit more for it, it might have been a different brand but it looks the same to me. The volume buttons didn't work on the first one, but it didn't matter because I didn't have that feature and still don't need it. I use the computer volume control. I only bought it because I couldn't get any sound through the audio jack after a complete reinstall of op. System. You know. One of those lost phantom drivers that wasn't even gone, anything…

Audio split for recording

If you want to record for YouTube or just need to process multiple channels with friends, this is perfect. All you need is in a program called "Virtual Audio Cable" and you're done! For Win7: Install the software and connect the card. Use "Audio Repeater (MME)" and select your internal audio device. For me it's a stereo mix from Realtek. Then, to exit, select the "Speakers (C-Media Headphones)” card and click "Start”. This allows you to hear games (whatever you're playing) through your speakers

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Compatible with Windows XP/7/8 and OSX and Linux

These USB sound cards work great. Compatible with Windows XP/7/8 and OSX or Linux without driver installation. Just plug it in and it works. Ideal for testing audio issues or simply as a replacement sound card or even as a replacement. The LEDs blink during playback or recording, which is a bit annoying. You can just stick a piece of tape on it if that bothers you. However, it's nice to have a visual indication that it's working. For permanent use I would cover the LEDs, but as I said, this is…

Working but may have poor sound quality depending on the output device

I bought this to output audio from my laptop as the internal audio has died (there is no audio from either built in speaker or the audio jack ). Headphones). It does the main job of outputting sound, but the sound quality is terrible. The music is extremely fragile and tinny, almost painful to listen to, and turning on a bass booster or treble reducer doesn't help much. I guess at this price I can't complain, but to give some context, before that I was using the headphone jack on a pair of 2000

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember

Finally! Reliable USB sound card!

This is the 5th USB sound card I have bought for my laptop. Long story short I broke the original on my laptop so I couldn't just plug it straight into my laptop to listen to music so I started getting those. I've tried another clear blue plastic that I can't think of a name for right now, but every one I've had hasn't fallen apart in over a week. They just weren't put together properly and fell apart. This thing is strong as a nail. It can survive everyday life in my bag and still works just…
