I received the device around April 2017. The button is very difficult to use. It doesn't give you a clicking feeling. On average, I had to press up, down, right, left 5 to 10 times to get a response from the garage opener. (The garage opening unit pairs well with all other controllers.) The button design is BAD. I have purchased several Genie consoles over the years. This was by far the easiest thing I've ever had to program. It usually takes a few attempts with nice words 😳 before programming catches on. Very happy so far. It took longer to get up my ladder to get to the learn button on the garage door opener in the ceiling than it did to program it. I pressed the Learn button on the ceiling unit and the red LED on the ceiling unit started flashing.
