Great Socket for Automotive Work

I was skeptical about this universal socket at first, but after trying it out on my car, I was pleasantly surprised. The grip is strong and secure, making it perfect for automotive work. It easily fits a variety of bolt sizes, saving me time and hassle. The only downside I found is that it can be a bit tricky to get the socket released from the bolt once it's tightened.

I did but wouldn't recommend it.

Worked but the universal joint was very loose out of the box. You'll probably need to tape it around to keep it in a fixed position.

Rescue in tight spaces with obstructions

After replacing the valve cover gasket, I had trouble tightening the top two center valve cover bolts on my 2004 Dodge Grand. Front valve cover station wagon 3.3l. The reason was that the intake manifold created an angle of more than 20ยฐ on my socket extension, which made it difficult to use a torque wrench. To get it right, I had to maintain an angle of 15ยฐ or less. To achieve this I had to reduce the height of my standard 8mm 1/4" depth + universal wrench by 54mm. The Genius 8mm universalโ€ฆ
