Beautiful, discreet license plate holder for my Audi. I'd rather drive that than drive through dealership ads with their ugly plastic license plate holders.

Was pleasantly surprised to find it was made in the USA. I accidentally dented the one that came with our car and this replacement is actually better. My old one was a polished version but felt kind of weaker. I went for a matte finish this time hoping it would go better with the look of the S-Line wheels, and it does.

Very happy with the product. I actually had an issue with my plate that one of the mounting screws got stuck in the screw so only 3 of the 4 screws worked. I was able to use three screws and position the fourth so the cover would hide the missing screw and still make it look intact. I also got a tinted plate cover and it fitted well.

Would work just fine if longer screws were included! As a result, I broke the base trying to drive the screws in. The standard size 2017 Audi Q7 bolts are not long enough for this plate frame. Now I need to figure out how to replace the base bracket which will probably cost hundreds and then find the screws that attach to this frame. What a nightmare.

Although the item claims to fit my car (Audi Q5 2019) it does not. While the holes align with the mounting screw holes so it can be secured to the car, the edges do NOT go around the edges of the black plastic panel mount. You would literally mount it on a mounting plate - the edges of the black plastic mounting plate were visible on all sides of the item. Will return.

Be careful which model you are ordering this frame for. Not suitable for my S5. This requires the use of rear spacers to free up and prevent the screw tabs from breaking inwards, which then requires the use of longer screws. The rear chamber ensures a snug fit even when using spacers. Unfortunately, the standard 12mm bolts are too short and the next normally available size (16mm) is too long to work properly as you only need them tighten up to the stop.
