I own and use a Sunlu branded heating dryer filament box and use a CR-10S. I think this makes pretty solid prints but as it uncoils it kinks really easily. Once the metal extruder gear I have just couldn't feed it and ended up getting stuck. Obviously easy to stress it back to a 'straighter' filament. This seems to kink easier than the Overture PETG filament I used in the past. It seems to not be wound as cleanly as other brands on the top but gets better going through the roll.I would buy…

Pros
  • Cost-Effective - With a bundle of 2kgs of filament, SUNLU pays less per gram and saves you more money on any project
Cons
  • May require additional support structures for printing designs

Prints a little different than PLA

Bump your print bed temp up about 10°c.I recommend Aqua Net hairspray rather than PVA school glue (thinner, more uniform and better adhesion).Start out by turning ironing off if you use it and adjust your nozzle temp to refine your outer surfaces. PETG is stickier than PLA and ironing doesn't produce the same quality it does for PLA.Requires more cooling fan than PLA to combat its stickiness and heat retention.Don't automatically assume that more heat will produce a smoother print. You'll want…

Pros
  • 3D Printing Filament
Cons
  • May require above-average technical knowledge to operate

I don't know what PETG-G is, but it is NOT PETG. I have purchased and printed over 20 spools of SUNLU PETG and it works flawlessly. However they went out of stock a few months ago, and removed the listing for the product I've always used. This came up in stock and I ordered it only to find the print quality is AWFUL with normal PETG settings. I've tried two different spools and got the same results. I still have a spool of the "good stuff" from SUNLU and print flawless prints using the same…

Pros
  • ‎0.25kg*8-8 Colors
Cons
  • May result in inconsistent print finishes

So far the best PETG i've used.

After running my standard temp tower and retraction towers on each spool i use, I set out to hopefully print my workshop dust collection system. I tried and failed miserably with overture petg ; clogs and extrusion issues galore. Drying, baking recalibrating.nothing worked with that junk , that stuff was awful. I had used esun black petg with good results for a few other prints and was happy with that, but they didn't have blue so I order the blue sunlu. First non calibration print was a 15hr…

Pros
  • Super Neat Filament Spool
Cons
  • May not be durable for long term use

refuses to stick to anything but the nozzle

I was stoked to try this stuff because of my many LED projects, but I am also new to printing. However I am a quick study and pretty good at solving problems. Having assembled my printer which came without instructions on neither assembly or printing, I get beautiful prints on other filaments, but this stuff.I took into account that it is a different compound than PLA as well as my novice experience and spent literally hours a day trouble shooting but it would ooze out of the nozzle and roll…

Pros
  • It could be a little ticker than it is. It’s too thin
Cons
  • May experience clogging issues while printing

It’s actually good filament.

Ender 5 Pro, ezable, flex pei bed. Temps start-230 after 1st layer-220 bed-50 all time. Sticks well, great shine/layer adhesion, a bit strungy, but heat gun takes care of it, or just a bit more tweaking on the settings. All in all very good product so far. Bought 7 rolls, will buy more!

Pros
  • 1.75mm Filament Diameter
Cons
  • May be affected by humidity in the environment

Great PETG: my feedback

This PETG filament is good. It has a nice gloss and prints pretty well.It does string a bit but PETG is known for that.It adheres fine to my bed with some diluted white glue.I will definitely buy more when I run out.

Pros
  • PETG Recommend Settings
Cons
  • May require additional setup time before printing

Petg Newbie - my new review

First time ever printing with petg and happy to say that first temp tier and Phil A Ment test prints came out great. Now just trying to figure out what else to print with it and need to buy more in different colors

Pros
  • Exquisite Color Variance - With SUNLU Multicolor 3D Printer Filament Bundle, you can easily bring your designs to life with 8 vibrant colors
Cons
  • May experience compatibility issues with certain 3D printer brands

I've never had this many problems with petg

Dried it multiple, countless print setting changes just to be sure. Multiple clogged nozzles Ann's really inconsistent print results. The orange prints better but also poorly compared top brands such as stronghero3d petg of similar price. Unfortunately i didn't use the filament soon enough to return it or I certainly would. Very disappointing sunlu.
