refuses to stick to anything but the nozzle

I was stoked to try this stuff because of my many LED projects, but I am also new to printing. However I am a quick study and pretty good at solving problems. Having assembled my printer which came without instructions on neither assembly or printing, I get beautiful prints on other filaments, but this stuff.I took into account that it is a different compound than PLA as well as my novice experience and spent literally hours a day trouble shooting but it would ooze out of the nozzle and roll into a ball sticking only to the nozzle itself. Having this huge ball of melted filament would then drag through the print. I tried a cold bed, a hot bed of 75*, painter's tape, glue, hairspray, painfully slow speeds of 15mm, meticulously leveling (and even went out and bought a machinists DTI dial) I tried even printing on glass. I know the small gap between the surface and nozzle needs to be .5-1mm though I tried every variation therabouts and still got nothing but stringy, chunky, granulated brittle globs of frustration. I thought I found something I just wasn't good at or could not figure out which usually, if given an amount of time, my stubborn determination refuses this possibility and I will kill myself to get it right (I WILL NOT LET A MACHINE BEAT ME! haha), but as soon as I put a spool of PLA back on it? Bam! Bitchen prints. I really hope this is just a fluke in regard to transparent PETG because I really want something that suits my needs. One thing I do know is this isn't it. I'm bummed.
