Quiet, won't flap in the wind or squeak. The slit leaves an open space showing the door's internal insulation - look for a way to fix this. I wish this slot had an adjustable plate for this.

Perfectly matches the hardware and looks very professional. However, the inside of the side panels is not covered by anything (we used bits of the cut out outer part of the door to trim them). Good price. Arrived on time.

I bought this and had a door installer install it on my new front door. That was less than 2 months. Looks like the internal spring is broken. It looks good and feels solid, but the spring is very thin and brittle.

This worked really well for adding a post office on the door. I also had to buy a kit for the inside of the door to keep the mail from getting through the door. It looks very nice and goes well with the existing doorknob/lock. Looks more expensive than it is.

I installed this door mailbox on my front door as a security measure to prevent my mail from being stolen which has happened to some neighbours. It was easy to install and works great. Our postman is thrilled too! Now when I come home, my mail is safe, dry, and in the house. I would buy this product again!

I was pleased to find this worn bronze letter box to match my doorknob and lock but was disappointed when I opened the packaging to find it was silver rather than shabby resembles bronze. I decided to keep it and paint it the appropriate color as it is a good mailbox and will work, but wish it was as described and pictured.

It's very nice but sometimes the door gets stuck. No problem. I use a cut out piece of foam rubber (bought to install the air conditioner) to insert inside the mail slot. This protects against drafts and insects. I pocket it loosely so the postman doesn't have to work to enter the mail. I'll take a piece of foam rubber and replace it after the mail arrives.
