I'm very picky about my son's pants. These pants surprised me. You look great. Say they are very comfortable. I recommend going down in size as others have suggested in their reviews unless your child is exceptionally tall. My son usually wears an 8 and he is tall for his age. However, I reduced the size to 7. The length is just right. The waist was a bit big, but the waist adjustment makes them a perfect fit. I will order in more colors.

You look great. Hang it right and the back buttons look classy. A size 16 fits my son who is 5ft 2in and 120lbs with a slight hem.

The gray color is a very soft grey. I also liked the simple fly clasp. The trousers look very elegant and, most importantly for the grandson, they are comfortable. A bit long, but shortening is not a problem.

I liked that the pants were lighter and a little more tailored than regular chinos for events like church or school proms. Pants fit perfectly in length. I'm glad the waist is adjustable as we had to make it a little smaller for a better fit. My son is 5 feet 6 1/2 inches and 115 pounds.

Big and skinny boy. They are a great length but all pants are too big at the waist so the elastic was critical and makes them work perfectly. 5 feet 4 inches and 90 pounds.

I had to try 3 different sizes to find my son's size. I finally found a size that fits around the waist. The length of the pants is a bit too short for him, but they still look good in classic shoes. We tried size 8, 7 and 6. Size 6 fits him best. Size 7 and 8 didn't even fit and there was too much fabric for the belt.

My thin-waisted child has trouble finding pants that are long enough for the leg but not so wide at the waist that he can't wear them.
