Cheap, not well made! Do not use for safety reasons!

Totally cheap crap! I wanted to use them to lock gun cases. I broke the first one in 30 seconds by following the included installation guide. You don't mention that you have to press down and turn around. The rest is easy to open with a good tug! We get what we pay for!

Beautiful Easy Locks

I bought these to use for a DIY birthday party. They fit perfectly for what I needed and the price was right. I would definitely not recommend them for serious security applications. All the locks I received were very easy to program and came with factory settings as a combination.

Find a brand that is not made in China

Has 4 locks. The first thing that struck me was that they were made in China. The instructions to create the combo were not easy to follow. The first attempt did not work and the lock could not be reset. It is locked and cannot be opened. Delete this one. Finally I figured out the second lock. The quality is so-so, I don't know about the weather conditions.

Beautiful and Sturdy - Combination Padlocks

They are quite strong for their size. I took a photo with a coin and ruler to show you the size. I had to go back to my purchase to figure out how to install the locks after finding out everything went smoothly. I don't plan on using it outside so I don't know the weather resistance. Would I buy again if I needed more locks. My advice is to read and look at all the combination changing diagrams ahead of time and at the time of changing the first lock

Suitable for light use

Nice little lock for very easy use. I tried resetting the combination on one of them and the lock no longer works. It doesn't close and the numbers spin when I turn the latch. I use them to lock my gun cases when I take them to the shooting range, so I don't need really strong locks for that. It's just that by law the gun is locked in the trunk. Now that I know the curls aren't as strong, I treat them with more care. I think these locks work for luggage as well, but be careful with them when…

Not particularly weatherproof. Great for luggage but not "backyard gates "

I needed a tiny padlock to secure my back gate. I didn't need something strong enough to prevent intrusion, just something to let people know that this gate was not meant to be opened. I've used the lock on my open fence for several weeks without touching it. After weeks of rain and incredibly hot sun, the locks were stuck and would not turn. It took some time to unscrew, and having successfully picked the weather-worn lock, it now won't close. Luckily there were 4 in the box so I only have 1…

I gave them a try, but I had the same issues as others with one of the locks.

They were a bit smaller than I expected although I didn't measure so not a defect in the product just to let others know. I bought these to put an outside gate in our yard where we already have padlocks with keys, just a subtle deterrent when I don't need to carry or walk back to the house to get the keys.
