Not worth the investment

Despite being listed under "Industrial and Scientific", this filament fell short of expectations. Through trial and error, I found that the print quality was inconsistent and the filament was prone to breaking mid-print. The price point may be attractive, but the frustration and wasted time outweigh any potential savings.

Pros
  • Affordable.
Cons
  • Poor quality and prone to breaking.

not so good yet

Well I thought it was ok and then I tried printing, and problems with durability immediately arose. the whole part was layered in a very short time. This is a print I made on another PC with no problems. so i was very disappointed. The first reviews are correct, avoid this thread. I had no issues with warping, it just didn't have the strength of the printed parts.

Pros
  • Parts printed with Gizmo Dorks polycarbonate filament have improved mechanical strength compared to ABS and PLA
Cons
  • old

I was concerned about the 1 star reviews, glad I took the chance

Never printed on a PC and looking for a small roll for review. All the 1 star reviews almost put me off but for the price I thought it was worth checking out. When the roll arrived I was even more concerned, the seal on the bag was broken so I knew it needed drying and it came on a black plastic spool rather than the cardboard shown in the listing. *Fear mounting* I dried the spool at 75°C for 24 hours and then proceeded to print. This stuff prints great! Glue stick on PEI nozzle at 265°C…

Pros
  • Filament diameter 1.75mm (dimensional accuracy +/- 0.03mm)
Cons
  • Some errors
