OK but a little big on the pins

They are as advertised BUT slightly larger than the other 5mm pins I've bought. This makes it difficult for them to get into holes that other 5mm pins fit.

Work in progress Good for pins

My husband is building a bookshelf for one of our granddaughters. We used these pins as supports for the adjustable shelves. I think the molding above the pins adds a nice touch.

Does the job! with clasps

Husband had to tuck them in as they were a bit tighter than expected. Which also means they don't come out easily - you can see that as a pro. or con. Otherwise they are solid and serve their purpose!

Acceptable Dimensional Accuracy

As measured with digital calipers, my container of dowels ranged from 4.97mm to 5.03mm in diameter with a mod of 4.99mm. The length of the dowel varied from 24.87mm to 24.98mm with a mode of 24.9. These steel dowels are non-magnetic, have a smooth finish and a slight chamfer on the edge.

Ideal when you need multiple pin options. Fits short slip-in puzzle

If you've ever stuck a peg in a peg and find that the shelf is a bit short or you need extra support, this is the perfect solution. Marinate easily and add extra length if needed, just two short shelves or extra stability. Very satisfied with the quality, workmanship and also the price. Simple solution and simple solution

Ideal size for fasteners

They were perfect for my shelves! I had a few 1x10 cuts at Home Depot, but they were a bit shorter than the standard 1/2 pin and kept falling off. They were long enough to hold a shelf and fitted snugly into the openings in the cabinets.

Metal Pins on Fasteners

a little tight. Two shelves fell off recently. A solution had to be found for this. They didn't fit exactly, just gave them a couple of hammer blows. Ba boom, right inside. Longer than the ones that came with the bookshelf. strong feeling I have a feeling the dowels will last a long time. Happy with our purchase. :)
