I HAD YEARS ONE ON THE SIDE

I WEAR ONE IN A HOLSTER ON THE BELT FROM 1985 UNTIL I RETIRED IN 2000. I BOUGHT THIS FOR A FRIEND. MY ORIGINAL IS FOR SALE AND SHOULD STILL HAVE A FAMILY!

Very convenient, durable, comfortable and (relatively) cheap!

Don't let the relatively low price fool you, these are fantastic screwdrivers that will stand up to repeated use and even abuse. Mine has occupied my tool apron since about 2002; The only issue I had was that after 12 years of heavy use, the end of a small flat head screwdriver broke off. Personally, I find the rounded, square-profile handle comfortable and easy to tighten or loosen all but the very tight screws.

but the handle makes me feel guilty just looking at it

The handle is non-ergonomic and slippery. Ergonomics like this make my hand cramp if I have to use it for more than a minute. The lack of a clutch makes it difficult to apply much torque. Actually I'm on Revain in the first place to buy a replacement. I don't know about the manufacture but if I had to guess I would guess that the handle is the cheapest part. The bits and rod are worth the money but the grip can make me sick just looking at it. Every time I have to use it, I marvel at the awful…
