This oiler would be GREAT if it weren't for a design flaw. It flows. Unfortunately, like many others, I rolled the dice and encountered the same problem. It seems to happen after the oiler has been used and adjusted. Under the influence of gravity, the oil slowly flows down the neck and out of the handle. At first I thought it was the leather washer joint, but after some testing it turned out that the oil was leaking from the pump handle itself and there was no way to seal it. This is a design…

EDIT: After playing with this pump for a while I noticed that a lot of small leaks were growing into bigger ones. I can't find out where but I contacted the manufacturer to complain. The manufacturer immediately sent a replacement pump, but after about a week of drying time it was leaking from underneath and around the nozzle in exactly the same places as the original. Well I've ordered two of these. I was excited as they are made in the USA but my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. On the positive side, the pump runs quietly and the amount of oil flowing out is easy to control, even with very thin spindle oil. Now for the rest. Both leaked immediately.
