Would be great but unfortunately leaking

This oiler would be GREAT if it weren't for a design flaw. It flows. Unfortunately, like many others, I rolled the dice and encountered the same problem. It seems to happen after the oiler has been used and adjusted. Under the influence of gravity, the oil slowly flows down the neck and out of the handle. At first I thought it was the leather washer joint, but after some testing it turned out that the oil was leaking from the pump handle itself and there was no way to seal it. This is a design…

Nice little pump, but it LEAKS bad!

EDIT: After playing with this pump for a while I noticed that a lot of small leaks were growing into bigger ones. I can't find out where but I contacted the manufacturer to complain. The manufacturer immediately sent a replacement pump, but after about a week of drying time it was leaking from underneath and around the nozzle in exactly the same places as the original. I've complained to the manufacturer again, we'll see what happens. As for my comment on the leak in the previous review. This…

Disappointed, good for transferring fuel and grease

Well I've ordered two of these. I was excited as they are made in the USA but my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. On the positive side, the pump runs quietly and the amount of oil flowing out is easy to control, even with very thin spindle oil. Now for the rest. Both leaked immediately. I filled them up and checked them but went out the next day and found they were leaking everywhere. Sure I can fix both, but I don't need to fix a brand new product. They should come first with no…

Everyone should own one of these.

My father had a butter dish like this. As far as I can remember he had one of these when I was a kid. My father was a depressed child. When I say he had one, I don't mean he always had it. I mean he always had the same thing. He's had one my whole life. As he left, I clung to his tools (and oiler). In my 20's I started a car radio shop (dad was away) and many of my dad's tools found their way into the shop - a drill press, a grinding wheel, hand tools, tool cabinets he built himself and of…
