Not bad Best in cycling

First, think about the price. This is not a very high quality headlamp, but for the money it is an excellent headlamp. The attachment system isn't terrible. The bracket needs to be pressed a little to firmly press the headlight. I also added outside serrated washers on each side for better grip. The light is bright enough, more than I expected from AAA batteries to be honest. I cycled 18 miles and encountered some pretty decent bumps and the light didn't move or rattle.

Doesn't sleep while driving.

I have to return my flashlight as the mounts don't keep it stable while driving. Vibrations from the road cause the light to gradually shift. I tightened the hardware as tight as possible. After that didn't work, I bought extra washers and lock washers from the hardware store, but nothing holds. I now have a scratch on the front fender where the headlight bezel touched the fender as the headlight fell forward.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Vulgarity

LOUD cheap. Good if you want to see your bike

Every time the road is not very smooth this thing makes noise. I tried bending the door lock a bit, screwed it all the way down and it was still noisy. I'd like to keep it, but I really can't. This is ONLY good if you are looking at your bike and not wanting to ride it. On my 1986 Raleigh 531. Reynold is a super quiet bike and I can't have that. It's very annoying to hear how every little bump, every change in the asphalt makes noise. Disappointed. time to send it back. My $0.02

Good Bad - Accessories

I think they sent me an open box when I was paying for a new one. Most of the time it looks good on my bike. Not very bright, but bright enough. Defect. The mount is cheap and bends on a rough road, I'll have to come up with something to fix it. The standard screw is useless and the light won't stay on so I replaced it with a lock nut. Overall I like the look, but if you're looking for a flashlight to light the trail, buy something else. If you want to decorate your bike with a stylish retro…

Disappointed with quality but still recommended

The light works well but the thin metal bracket that supports the lantern itself needs some support. After about 3 weeks of cycling almost every day, the light jittering due to the bumps I occasionally bumped began flexing the brace so much that it started breaking in the middle. So I built two metal plates and some screws to secure it and now it doesn't wobble at all. The switch to turn on the light is a bit stiff, you have to pull it to turn on the light, which could also be the cause of the…

Outstanding brightness. in cycling

Well packaged. Arrived earlier than stated. I had to improvise and be creative on my bike to install the light. I have a cannon chisel and the front fork doesn't have a hole in the middle where the headlight mounts as advertised. But I used the reflector mounts on the handlebars to use one of the mounts that came with the light. It worked perfectly. I had the black one I use installed on another bike from Walmart and most of the forks have this hole so no problem if you need this light. Its…

Pros
  • High-quality workmanship
Cons
  • Requires socket

Cheap but good: Headlight

Pros: Bright, enough light for night cycling. Looks good, small visor and chrome trim look nice. The price is right. Despite my few complaints, I would buy this product again and recommend it. Not so good: The switch feels cheap when turned. It's like you're about to break it before it clicks into the on position. It softened after about 20 cycles on and off, but doesn't inspire confidence. The bracket that holds the headlight is my least favorite part. It is designed to flex as the screw is…
