Beautiful and simple for women

The neckline is much shorter than it looks. That corresponds to the size. I'm curvy, 5ft 9in and it hits my knees. It kind of makes you look taller, like from the side, but it's pretty comfortable. decent material. Lots of buttons on the front. I put on a petticoat and it looks 100 times better. The material is neither heavy nor light. Perfect for fall weather or chilly evenings. Couldn't get a full body shot, but as I said, it ends below the knee for me and widens towards the petticoat. I…

Got this dress for my class time. I wanted a modest, stylish, vintage dress that could almost be a uniform for the 3 out of 5 days I spend training military personnel. It was great, especially since it's winter now and our facility is right on the water. Reviews said it was a high waist but for me it fits my natural waist. could it be growth related? I ordered XS: I'm 5'5, 118 lbs. The material is stretchy and stretches well. I will pair it with a black belt, tights and heels to complete the…

An unexpected jewel for women

This dress is beautiful! The fit is perfect and the fabric is heavy and stretchy so the top is snug and not clingy. At 5ft 9in the skirt only covers my knees. The construction is surprisingly good for a dress at this price point, and more importantly, the skirt completes the circle - no skimping on the fabric has been done. The sleeves and skirt are neatly hemmed on a sewing machine, the inseams and edges of the trim are finished, there are no folds around the zipper. As a seamstress I usually…

Perfect fit and style

We bought this dress to complete it with a piano ensemble theme song but knew this feminine dress would be perfect for any church dress up occasion. We first checked the size chart and chose the size with the largest measurement. It fits perfectly - and is a bit inferior due to the stretchy material - but when you look at it, nobody notices. We make petticoats ourselves and she wore a petticoat for fullness with a dress. This is a style of dress that suits any elegant occasion, and its length…

I love this beautiful, comfortable dress. But it's not Colorsafe.

I bought black with a white collar, 3/4 sleeves. I love this dress! I had to go XL to fit my bust size; the big one was too tight and the material stretched. The XL felt much better but a little loose in the waist. The material is polyester and spandex so an unusual mix of materials for me but the weight of the material is good and it looks really great, especially with a petticoat! I tried on many expensive department store dresses for my company's Christmas party and nothing worked until I…

If I could give this dress 20 stars I would, and here's why.

I'm 5ft 7in, 44 bust, 36 waist, 41 hips and I ordered XL. I'm 51 with a baby (small stretch marks on my stomach/chest) and overall I'm not as perky as I was in my 20's and 30's (or like their models always are - I'm sure by the time you're 22, it will look great no matter what lol). I've bought a few vintage dresses from Revain from the 1950's and higher quality dressmakers like Unique Vintage and this dress suits me better than all of them combined! Make the front slightly longer or fully…
