I bought these for my Jeep JK which has larger tires with a maximum pressure of 80psi. For outdoor use I use 60-65psi so I needed to be able to see if they were good. So far they've worked great for me. I bought 50psi for my trailer and tested them by depressurizing and they turned yellow at 45psi and started showing red at 35-40psi. It should be noted that when it's yellow it still looks mostly green. What happens is that the green starts to sink in and only shows some yellow towards the end of the cap. I bought 50psi for my mountain bike because in a few weeks I need to top up for some reason. I inflated the tires to 50psi, which is decent for road use (45-60psi). Someone blew air out of my tire. Be careful and check after installation. The one 65psi I had on the big trailer tire took my tire to 45psi in 12 hours which was checked with a great gauge.
