🎨 Clear Acetate Pad, 9 X 12 in, 25 Sheets - High Quality for Art & Crafts Review

I have previously bought acetate/window films, they are much thicker. They ended up working (in a pinch) but I was expecting a much thicker sheet. They are very thin and flexible, not as thick as those that can be used with an overhead projector. I would not recommend them for making "windows" in boxes or shake cards, as artisans like to do. Crisp, clean quality sheets - just not as thick as I'd like.

These sheets are very thin. I've tried using them to make sour cream packets and they're probably better for the "peep" windows, not the packet itself. I wasn't sure how thick so I went ahead and ordered them to try. As said, they are quite fragile and seem to crumple easily which breaks the clarity. As far as being used for foils they don't seem to hold up very well. The .25 is nice and thick and I'll probably stick with them.

Not sure what to expect as I have never used this film. The sheets are in the tray, they really helped with the extra color options and I needed something to hold them in place. Also, this corner was creased after wiping off the watercolor paint with a damp paper towel. I used the clamp to hold it in place but didn't expect it to curl up. If it had been harder or if I had had prior experience with the product, the results might have been different.

I actually use them for scientific purposes. I'm a paleontologist studying molluscs and after acid etching the cross-sectional area of a shell I cover that surface with acetone and use these sheets to peel the surface. At the same time I see very thin growth lines in the shell! Acetate crusts are a very useful tool in geology and biology. These leaves are great for this purpose. This acetate from Grafix is very thin and flexible, perfect for combining many individual stamp sheets into one. I cut my 9x12 sheet to the standard 8-1/2"x11" size and it fits perfectly inside the plastic backing. I've created a hanging file organizer system that I can use to categorize my stamps.
