Good Product - Cycling

Chain link tool works great and I appreciate the space for a quick connect. And the quick coupler halves are fairly securely fastened in the recess of one of the levers. But when the tong arms are separated and stored, I would like the two sides of the tong to stay together with a magnet instead of being held. along with two rubber bands.

Pros
  • Quality construction

Amazing quality "3 in 1 ".

Amazing quality "3 in 1”. Tire Levers, Quick Link Remover and Quick Link Storage. We have thoroughly tested this tool and found it to be much more durable than others in every way👍👍 Also, it is very well designed for "easy" removal of bike tires and fast chains. Connections. It will NOT damage carbon fiber wheels. A clear PLUS ❗ OFFER TO THE MANUFACTURER: This will be the "ideal" tool. When the two-piece levers are connected together without using the supplied rubber bands.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Fragile after months of Texas heat

After a few months in my bike tool kit under the Texas sun, the levers have become brittle. They severed the stubborn bond. I think they are well designed and have worked well for many months. The click of a lever was more of a mistake on my part because it was actually a stubborn link and required more pressure than usual to unlock, even with steel pullers. I think if I were touring or riding in areas where I was isolated I would go for the same design but in hardened steel.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers

Excellent value for money, ideal for travel.

I don't leave too many reviews but it's great when you travel by plane or just in your backpack as the tire levers are plastic, it's safe for carbon rims and they're durable, since this feature, then for chain pliers they are ideal, and both tools do not take up additional space, plus the fact that it includes an additional link. I looked at the wolf pliers and the multi-tool. I love their stuff and it wasn't the price that influenced my decision but based on other reviews bits of it seemed to…

Worth Carrying But Limited

I really like these pliers, but I'm not a big fan of their "simple" tire lever function. I've used them to successfully break and install my chain a number of times and unsuccessfully mount and dismount a tire a couple of times. The lever tips are too long for low volume street tires and I clamped the tube twice when mounting the tire. I have multiple sets of levers and I find this to be a common design flaw. They are probably better suited to mountain bikes with wider rims and more tire volume

Durability is impressive

Very, very, very durable. I'm very impressed with it, but there's one complaint, and it's a small one. If you fold them up for storage or put them in a leotard, you'll need to tie them with a rubber band. The levers do not engage. Kind of a shame because I like things neat and organized and I don't like to add a third element to keep the products together so you don't lose one. Update: From time to time, no matter how well something is done, problems can arise. Well I broke off a very small…

Great tool. Nearly perfect.

This tool is beautifully made and very functional. This works very well to break (remove) a quick link. Keeping a few sitelinks is a great idea and works well. At first I thought the teeth were too big for my 11-speed chain, but I quickly realized that it really does fit the 11-speed chain perfectly. As tire levers they are just as good as any I've used - perhaps too bulky for smaller road bike tires, but perfect for 1.75" or larger tires used on hybrid and mountain bikes. I was dying to give…

Great tool for your package; works well; Great value

I chose this Granite Talon ($12) over the Wolf Tooth Pack ($33) because (A) it uses heavy-duty nylon (instead of alum) as the lever for tires and (B) they are broken down into 2 parts (easier when used as tire levers) and (C) 1/3 the cost. I chose bright orange so I won't be forgotten/lost on the trail. Before purchasing, I read the reviews below that this item only works for compressing/removing the main link, not for expanding/setting the main link (except with external cutouts). Because of…
