Update manual

steering wheel looks good, satisfied with the purchase. Your instructions could have been better. The instructions look like they were copied from a photograph taken of the original instructions printed in 72.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Works great: Horns and accessories

This kit is for non-telescopic wheels but I got it to work. Combined with a Grant Wheel and some creative thinking this worked pretty well, I didn't use all the parts in the kit and you have to select the expansion level when installing the kit as the telescoping feature would be useless. It can always be adjusted, but you have to loosen the central nut to do this.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Modern

Doesn't work as advertised

Does not fit my '74 Corvette as advertised. The adapter fit in the slot but not in the horn insulator at all. I drilled another hole in the adapter and had to match it to the one in the steering wheel. Now my horn works and the steering wheel is straight. The horn button that came with the steering wheel didn't work with the pin that came with the adapter and according to the part numbers it should have worked.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Almost OK
